Security and privacy

Is my data secure?

All data is stored in the information system; your mobile phone stores only short-term data in an encrypted form. The My College application does not collect and store the biometric data of users for its own needs. The verification itself takes place at the level of the device’s system.

Communication (data transfer) between the information system and the My College app uses standard encrypting protocols.

Basic rules for the safe use of the application

  • Use the My College app as responsibly as the university information system or any other on-line banking applications. The reason for this is the connection with the university information system where all changes made in the My College app are stored.
  • To ensure security, we highly recommend that you
    • lock your device using a security screen lock – pattern, PIN code, finger print etc. To find a type of screen lock go to your phone settings;
    • don't save the credentials in your device or anywhere they can be seen or found, and don't share them with anyone;
    • don't lend your device to any person who could misuse your login to the application;
    • log out from the application every time you use an unknown device.
